Jennifer Muiti is a highly experienced expert and professional on spectrum disorders. She has decades of distinguished service as a special needs consultant and specialist. She’s currently undertaking a PhD Course in Special Needs at Kenyatta University (Nairobi, Kenya). Jennifer Muiti is the board of directors’ vice chairperson. She is also a Head of Department at Kenya Institute of Special Education where she works in the Assessment for Early Intervention Department. She has also worked with the Ministry of Ed. Kenya in various capacities as an Education Assessment Research Center Officer and a Special Needs Curriculum Support Officer for 35+ years. As a highly accomplished professional with over 35 years of service in special needs education and assessment, she offers deep insights into addressing complex challenges related to mental health and developmental disorders. Her leadership as the Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors ensures that our programs are grounded in evidence-based practices and uphold the highest standards of care, while her expertise in identifying and addressing individual needs at the earliest stages aligns perfectly with GWC’s holistic approach to recovery.
