Ms. Maureen Mwenda, a passionate mental health champion and advocate, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Needs Education. With a wealth of experience in education, mental health advocacy, awareness campaigns, and entrepreneurship, Ms. Maureen brings a unique and dynamic perspective to the Goshen Wellness Center Board.
As the chief strategist of GWC, Ms. Maureen plays a pivotal role in shaping the center’s vision and direction. Her proficiency in digital communications and strategic branding has been instrumental in promoting the center’s mission and extending its reach through innovative platforms.
As the youngest board member among senior colleagues, she bridges generational perspectives, providing valuable insights on youth-related matters and championing modern, technological approaches to mental health advocacy and service delivery.
In her role as Secretary to the Board, she leads initiatives in entrepreneurial skill development and empowering patients for functional societal reintegration. Her expertise in sign language ensures inclusivity and accessibility across the center’s programs.
